“Theme Attic” Shuffle: Shania Twain, X, and Charlie Gracie!!!

Every show on “Theme Attic,” heard every Wednesday morning from 10A-12N EDT (http://www.whfr.fm/images/stream_audio.html) has an eclectic range of music! Here’s a perfect example for today’s show!

On Shania Twain’s [Hall of Fame] first tour, I was lucky enough to get a second row seat and I haven’t been the same since. She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen in person! Looking at her was like trying not to look into the sun. I was afraid my eyes would burn out! Well, here she is probably her most famous video, “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” [Greatest Song Ever Recorded][Greatest Video}:

Coming to town on Friday at The Magic Bag in Ferndale is hard rockin’ post punk band from LA is the band known as “X.” They’ve been around for for 30+ years and always bring the energy. A favorite song of mine is their “Burning House of Love!”:

A recent story that took almost 60 years to materialize involves The Beatles [Hall of Fame] and Charlie Gracie. Charlie was a Philadelphia rockabilly cat, that was loved not only By Paul McCartney [Hall of Fame] and John Lennon [Hall of Fame] but also Graham Nash, Peter Noone, and others. Charlie has a new book about it, “Rock & Roll’s Hidden Giant,” but in honor of “Bugapalooza,” here’s one of his classic songs, “Butterfly!”:
