Let’s Go Stompin’ on “Prime Time Theme Attic,” Monday Night, 8PM-10PM EDT!!!

So what is stompin’?

Beats me.

I always think of it as something from the swing era, where the music’s so lively that you have to get up and dance! But then, I listen to “Stompin’ at the Savoy” by Benny Goodman (pictured lower right corner in the banner), and it’s so reserved that I feel I could sit it out if I want to.

So that can’t be it.

But for some reason, the term “stomp” keeps showing up in music, even as recent as this year! And it doesn’t seem to favor a certain style of music either.

So I am baffled, but we’ll consider it a going out for an evening of music and dancing to whatever you want. You know. Tie one on!

I’ll play some stompin’ music on Monday night’s “Prime Time Theme Attic” with Phil Maq from 8PM-10PM EDT, as well as this week’s “Top 9 at 9:09” albums!

Songs by artists on the show should include Nora Jane Struthers and the Party Line, Dustbowl Revival, Bill Monroe, Nile Rodgers and Chic (pictured in the lower left corner of the banner), The Prefab Messiahs, Nick Urb, Dave Caruso Music, Young Statues, Vandenberg’s MoonKings, The Brother Brothers, Olivia Millerschin, Ten Years After – Band (picture in the upper left corner of the banner), Tosha Owens, Riverdales, Bark’s Wagon Tales, Billy Brandt & Sarana VerLin, Katherine Moller, Stillwell-Country MUSIC, RB Stone, Tom Curless, and more!!!

Come on along for the ride and tune in to 89.3 FM (89.3 WHFR.FM) in the Dearborn-Detroit area, stream it anywhere in the world with this special “stompin’t” link : https://whfr.fm/streamer/ (Press the “Listen Live Now” button), or use Tune In Player or RadioFM to stream it.
