I decided to shine the spotlight on a song and artist that are currently on my weekly Faves list.
I wasn’t aware of Davy Knowles until a few years ago.
I can’t believe that we can live in parallel universes and not be aware of such amazing talent!
Davy is an amazing blues artist who can dazzle the strings on his guitar like his idol Rory Gallagher!
Born on the Isle of Man (I really like saying that!), he has brought his dynamic blues jams to the US, and we are all better off for it!
Davy‘s vocals and songwriting skills are as strong as his guitar work!
I chose a live version of “What You’re Made Of” instead of the studio track on his Philby Award winning album, “Three Miles From Avalon“ to show him in his natural environment!
He really can tear it up!
