Randy Tessier, a multiple Philby Award winning artist, has been a part of the Southeast Michigan music scene since he moved here from Marquette, notching out a musical career covering a variety of styles.
His latest album release, “Sugar Town,” (and, yes, that is a cover of the Nancy Sinatra song), includes a swampy, gospel(!!!???) groove, “He Lifts Me Up!”
Randy always sounds like he could lead a gospel group any day of the week!
Throw in a wicked sax solo, some hot keyboard fills, and, naturally, hand claps, and this song will definitely lift you up!
