One of the greatest musical acts from Texas, a state known for its great musical acts, has reformed to put out another album of great Tex-Mex songs! Joe “King” Carrasco continues to put out solid, mostly fun, music, that makes you want to dance! Before Augie Myers was in the Texas Tornados, he rocked his Vox organ as a different “molino” with Joe. Check out “Rucca”:

One of my favorite signs of spring are daffodils. Here’s an odd dramatic duet by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood from a special she did called “Movin’ With Nancy.” The song references daffodils many times:

A weekly program that featured hot new artists was called “Hullabaloo.” Here’s a clip of Gerry & The Pacemakers doing their song “I’ll Be There.” I like the clip because it has Brian Epstein introducing one of his “discoveries”:
