Pre Show Torrential Rain Fun:The Black Keys, Elvis Presley, and Jimmy Buffet!!!

I never get tired of watching this dude lip synch to The Black Keys’ “Lonely Boy” from their “El Camino” album! With the band coming to Detroit this week, I thought it was a good time to bring it back!:

One of my favorite songs from “Blue Hawaii,” Elvis Presley’s [Hall of Fame] movie made around the time that the state actually joined the union is “Rock-a-Hula, Baby.” I think it was those jungle drums……..:

Probably my favorite Jimmy Buffet song is “Volcano.” I know it wasn’t written about Mt. St Helens, but I can’t help but think about Harry Truman, the old guy who wouldn’t leave his house before that volcano blew. The song is so catchy and filled with so many great phrases!:
