Phil’s Faves:Videos, November 11, 2012

This will be a personal weekly Top Ten list of what I consider to be the best videos currently available on TV. I don’t, as a rule, go searching for old music videos, so that’s why it will focus mostly on current or recent videos. For this category, I am also going to include any live performances on talk or variety shows that I see during the week.

Five straight weeks on top for Easton Corbin, but Luke Bryan is giving him some serious competition……………….

Top 10 Videos and Performances for the week of November 11, 2012

1. Lovin’ You Is Fun—Easton Corbin
2. Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye—Luke Bryan
3. Beer Money—Kip Moore
4. I Like Girls That Drink Beer—Toby Keith
5. Take a Little Ride—Jason Aldean
6. Tornado—Little Big Town
7. Cruise—Florida Georgia Line
8. Fastest Girl in Town—Miranda Lambert
9. Between the Raindrops—Lifehouse and Natasha Bedingfield
10. Begin Again—Taylor Swift

1) “Lovin’ You Is Fun”—There’s really not a lot more to say about Easton Corbin’s  video that I haven’t already said, but I’ll keep picking it as #1 until I get tired of it or something better comes along!
2) “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye”—Luke Bryan’s video and song continue to keep my attention!
3) “Beer Money”—I think Kip Moore has peaked for me, but it still is a good video!
4) “I Like Girls That Drink Beer”—Hey, this isn’t any “Red Solo Cup” but Toby Keith gets the job done again with a catchy melody!
5) “Take a Little Ride”—I’m glad Jason Aldean allows us to go with him on his “little ride!”
6) “Tornado”—Little Big Town do a lot of walking around with a purpose like they did in “Little White Church.” I would not want to cross the women in this group to make them angry……….
7) “Cruise”—The Florida Georgia Line moved a little further south this week. I think I’m getting a little tired from all of the rides on some of the songs higher up on the list………..
8) “Fastest Girl in Town”—Speaking of rides…At least Miranda Lambert is smart enough to ride shotgun with Danica Patrick!
9) “Between the Raindrops”—Natasha Bedingfield is like a chameleon, constantly changing her looks in her videos. I originally didn’t recognize her, but you can’t disguise that killer voice of hers! Lifehouse were smart enough to get her onto both the video and song!
10) “Begin Again”—Taylor Swift romps around Paris in clothes resembling outfits Shania Twain wore in “From This Moment.” I would still take Shania first, but Taylor does a good enough job!
