One of the most touching moments that I had from last year’s “Concert of Colors” was my Ozomatli experience. They performed the very beautiful “Cuando Canto” with The Detroit Symphony, and they brought their music to the audience when they broke down the “walls” and took the music into the audience! Here’s an early, subdued version of the song:
Local artists Bill Grogan’s Goat put a Bo Diddley beat to a classic sounding Irish song called “Greenwood Sidee.” It works perfectly for them! Here they are from a performance at P.J. Lager House in Detroit:
