I don’t know if anyone else is having any internet issues, nut I am.
It has made this morning a frustrating one, and that makes time seem both longer and shorter.
That kind of leads up to this week’s underlying theme: how we control the concept of time.
I do want to point out that “time” is not this week’s theme. It is the way that we think we control our world, yet actually can’t exert any control over it.
So, this Wednesday’s “Theme Attic” with host Phil Maq from 12PM-4PM EST will attempt to provide an illusion as he divides the show into a “leap” section, a new “Top 9 at 2:09” Songs Countdown for this week, a new Hall of Fame inductee: Mickey and Sylvia, a few more takes on Black History Month, and plenty of other life perspectives!
I will divide the tags into sections, but they will only be an estimate.
I can’t guarantee that everything will fit into those slots, but I will try very hard to stick to them!
However…they are NOT in sequential order. (I often make changes during the show!)
13 artists with Southeast Michigan ties on today’s show!
Songs by artists between 12PM-209 PM EST should include Dog Sisters, Dave Solo, The Woolies (Bob Baldori), The Interrupters, The Electromagnates (Big Stir Records), Lasses Rogers Band, Alejandro Escovedo, Henry Ford Big Band Supporters & Friends, Jordyn Pepper, Sebadoh, Mickey and Sylvia, Tom Alter Music (His new album cover for “Dispatch from the Lesser Middle is on the left in the banner!)
