It’s a Calendar Spring, Le Nain Rouge, Shangri-La, Full Moon Kind of “Theme Attic,” Wednesday, 12PM-4PM EDT!!!

Yipee!
It’s the first day of Spring!
Ha!
Have you looked outside yet?
Where I’m at, it’s snowing right now!
That’s why Wednesday’s “Theme Attic” with host Phil Maq from 12PM-4PM EDT is called, “It’s a Calendar Spring, Le Nain Rouge, Shangri-La, Full Moon Kind of “Theme Attic!”
I chose to do a Spring show because this date will probably be the earliest I’ll ever get to do one.
But, hey. Who am I kiddin’?
This doesn’t feel like spring so I will only briefly touch on it and then move on.
Daffodils will definitely be discussed!
But that’s OK because I have several other subjects to highlight!
Like the annual Le Nain Rouge parade this weekend!
The idea is to have a party to keep the evil spirit away from our fair city!
I’ve never been to it, but I envision the celebration to be a cross between Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day!
There’s some pretty good music there!
Another Full Moon is almost on the horizon! This time it’s the Worm one.
I’ll stick to moon songs, thank you!
For Women’s History Month, a new inductee is going into the “Theme Attic Hall of Fame”: The Shangri-Las–a very influential “Girls Group!”
Throw in a Top 9 at 2:09 Weekly Albums Countdown and potentially two World Premieres, well, that’s a lot for just one little ol’ show!
Stats are pretty good: 9 artist debuts, 8 new releases, 2 world premieres, 1 unreleased, 16 (Sixteen!) artists with SouthEast Michigan ties, 4 singles!
I will divide the tags into sections, but they will only be an estimate.
I can’t guarantee that everything will fit into those slots, but I will try very hard to stick to them!
However…they are NOT in sequential order. (I often make changes during the show!)
Songs by artists from 12PM-2:09 PM EST should include Anemone, Big State (Their “Viva Ne’er Do Wells” album cover is just left of center in the banner!), Vicky Emerson, Stella, Abbie Thomas Music (Her album cover for “Dirty Little Things” is just right of center in the banner!), Peach and Quiet, Jaime Michaels, Greg Chako Music with Albina Anneken and Kaleb James (Greg‘s “Friends…Old and New” album cover is second from the left in the banner!), Kate Nash, Henry Ford Big Band Supporters & Friends, Linden Thoburn, Katherine Moller, The Shangri-Las and more!!!

Reuter, Sarah Morris, Bobby Pennock, Jeremy Facknitz, HebbaJebba (Their self titled album cover is on the left in the banner!)(Ted Hajnasiewicz), Voxanna, Kate Hinote Music (Voxanna and the Kate Hinote Trio are playing 20 Front Street in Lake Orion, Michigan this Tuesday!)(Kate Hinote), Le Vent du Nord, Mikaela Davis, Wendy Webb, Maddy Ringo Mike Ward: PsychoSongs, Nobody’s Business, Jay Stielstra with Judith Banker (Maddy, Mike Ward, Nobody’s Business, and Judy Banker , will be playing Funky Rivertown Fest this Saturday in Ypsilanti, Michigan!), Christopher Gipson (His self titled album cover is second from the right in the banner!), Tom Curless, Carolyn Striho, Tina Ross, John Finan, Corndaddy (Kevin Brown of Corndaddy and John Finan are playing Funky Rivertown Fest Wednesday night, tonight, in Ypsilanti , Michigan!), Annie Capps, and more!!!
