The music world lost another great this week, Mr. George Jones. Here are a few videos to remind us of his genius.
First up, Vince Gill singing One More Last Chance. I still get a kick out of the “Ole Possum” on this one. And don’t most guys need “one more last chance?” :
George made a guest appearance on Aaron Lewis’ “Country Boy.” Since the song became a hit, it made Jones one of only a few artists in the world to have been on a charted hit in seven decades, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, ’00s, ’10s :
