Many of my radio milestones seem to be grouped together. However, they ARE milestones and I will celebrate each one as it turns up.
Monday night’s “Prime Time Theme Attic” with Phil Maq from 8PM-10PM EDT will mark 4 years of Prime Time! It’s a show that was spun off of my weekly morning show, “Theme Attic,” and it allowed me to bring alive my weekly Faves lists as well as play even more new music! That’s MY personal mission.
With my morning show on hiatus, it is the only show I do now, and I continue to make adjustments on what I feel the show should or could be.
I usually look at any anniversary as a free theme show, but for this one, I want to revisit the station wide subject of time from a couple of weeks ago. That’s because I thought I had brought all of my files for the show with me, but I didn’t. So, more songs about time and a “Top 9 at 9:09” is what I’m shooting for.
Songs by featured artists will include Greg Kihn, Dustbowl Revival, The Alan Parsons Project, and The Brother Brothers. There’s brand new music from Kelsey Waldon (Her album cover for “White Lines/White Noise” is in the banner on the right.), GYZE, and EllaHarp (Her album cover for “Who Asked You Back” is in the banner on the left. Other featured artists are Mike Gentry Music, Carlos Santana, Billy Brandt and the Sugaree’s, Judy Banker, Pretenders, Vandenberg’s MoonKings, Rare Earth, The Forty Nineteens, Savoy Brown, The Breakfast, Bill Kirchen, the Polka Floyd show (Their album cover is in the middle of the banner.) Ball Park Music, Joe Satriani and probably more!!!
