Everything I do has always been about shining a spotlight on the artist and their music.

Every year, I always did a show featuring some songs celebrating May Day, to stand in solidarity with my working sisters and brothers!
This year is even more important because working conditions are even scarier!
When it comes to songs about the Labor Movement, I reach for Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, or Si Kahn.
The Looping Brothers released another bluegrass collection of songs by activist, organizer and singer/songwriter Si Kahn!
Si himself appears on some of the songs.
I have chosen a song that could have been written any time and place where workers have struggled.
Unfortunately.
Many of the lyrics resonate strongly today!
