The Most Awesomest Song of the Day: “Then There Was You” by Steve Sterner and Sundown!!!

I can’t believe that 2020 is finally going to come to an end.

I suggest that we go out singing and with some “awesome” music!

Today’s song isn’t specifically about New Year’s Day, but the holiday is a time marker.

I am drawn to “Then There Was You” by Steve Sterner and Sundown from their, “November Rain” album because of all the time references:

• “Time is a-rollin…/Rollin’ past me.” 
• “I can’t catch up to cut myself free” 
• “We’re here but a moment/A ripple in the river of time.”
•  “Look for me on the river of time.”

“Then There Was You” rolls along in its own happy groove!

There’s some fine sounding acoustic guitars and pickin’!

I particularly like the chord changes after the middle section!

Not wanting to be caught in a drowning wave, Steve is thrown a line by someone who helps him stay anchored and safe.

They actually end up saving each other, and that’s what actually makes life special and worthwhile!
