Here’s my first entry for a new feature I’m starting.
I’m selecting one album per week that I will call my “New Key Album of the Week!”
I’m not reviewing the choice and I’m not saying it will end up on any other of my lists.
What I am saying is that I think this is a good album and deserves more spins and analysis.
I hope you will sometimes join me on my journey for new and exciting music!

Blues artist Kelly’s Lot,–like everyone else in the world, were forced to shelter in place for most of 2020.
Deciding not to waste time, founding members Kelly Zirbes and Doug Pettibone went back to their acoustic roots to records “Another Sky!”
Although not as hard edged as everything else in their catalog, Kelly still delivers her sincere soulful vocals as evidenced in a wonderful song, “Butterfly,” along with eleven other tracks!
My first New Key Album of the Week is “Another Sky” by Kelly’s Lot!!!
