Another pre pandemic tradition returns: The Semi-Annual Theme Attic Hall of Fame Show with Phil Maq on Wednesday from 2PM-415PM EDT!!!
This time it’s the 19th time and I have worked to bring a batch of deep cuts–most of which I haven’t played before!
The challenge of the show is how to blend such a group of diverse artists as well as fitting it in to the allotted time span.
But shucks! Isn’t that the goal of every Theme Attic show?
Of course, I have included two artists I’ve never played before for an opener and closer: Anne Marie Menta Music and Ditchbird!
In between will be music from musicians that are in a class that very few ever reach!
Rather than lay out every artist, I have decided to only list a handful.
Songs by artists on the show will include the ones in the banner: Dinah Washington, Duane Eddy, The Strawbs, Lorie Line, Jean Luc Ponty, and Ten Years After – Band, as well as others including local greats Billy Brandt and the Sugaree’s and Dick Siegel, and a variety of songs and artists from the 40’s up through last week!!! (Frank Sinatra, SRC, Jackson Browne, Riders In The Sky, The Rutles Fan Club, Suzy Bogguss Music, David Lanz, Jon Anderson, Judy Collins, Sarah Brightman, Jeff Healey, Lenny Gomulka & Chicago Push!!!
