International Women’s Day was yesterday, however “Theme Attic” with Phil Maq is on Wednesdays from 12PM-4PM EST.
Therefore, the celebration continues today!!!
Just like last week and every week going forward with the new four hour block, this year’s celebration of women artists will be the biggest one yet!!!
And per tradition, male artists will open and close the show. This year it will be Jeremy Porter and a Dave Solo song with Mike Gentry Music that takes on new meaning with the recent passing of drummer/multi instrumentalist Donn Deniston!
There will also be a record breaking Fave Albums Countdown with this week’s “Top 9 at 2:09!”
Everything else will be a celebration of the varied musical stylings of women!!!
A special Carole King tribute is included as she enters the “Theme Attic Hall of Fame!”
This week’s stats are: 8 Artist Debuts, 5 new releases, 17 artists with Southeast Michigan ties!!!
Times for the artists on the playlist will be divided into two blocks and are only approximate. They are a mostly educated guess and they are not in sequential order.
