This month’s Full Moon Tune, “Slow Down the Moon”  is just a small slice taken from a thirty song album written by Ann Arbor’s prolific singer/songwriter, Bill Edwards!

Not only does“Whole Cloth,” showcase Bill’s impressive and varied writing talents, he also played and recorded everything within the album!

It’s DIY to the nth degree, yet it sounds as sharp and polished as anything he’s recorded!

“Slow Down the Moon” is a song about a faltering relationship.

Like many of us, we look up at the nighttime sky and see that familiar shining orb and start to think of it as a friend.

The singer desperately feels that if he could just slow down that heavenly object, then he might be able to save the relationship.

However, we also know that’s impossible and the singer sadly needs a different strategy.

And a person has about the same chance of slowing down the moon as they do slowing down Bill Edwards’ songwriting pace!
