Interviews (Rocker Suzi Moon, Greater Alexander) and Spring Cleaning on Wednesday’s “Theme Attic,” 12PM-4PM EDT!!!

I did this last year and it went over well!
It’s a tradition that I would like to continue every year.
What am I talking about?
I’m referring to the annual “Theme Attic” Spring Cleaning Show with host Phil Maq from 12PM-4PM EDT!!!
This year’s show is going to be different than last year’s because there will be two (2?!) interviews!!!
Punker Suzi Moon (Pirates Press Records), who is playing Sanctuary Detroit on Thursday night, will be making a phone call for an on the road interview!!
The other interview is with local artist Greater Alexander who is part of Greater Impact House, which is an organization that is doing a fundraising event this Friday to help with a major home improvement project for musicians/artists to rehab. Many local artists are part of the 24 hour event!
If that doesn’t sound like spring cleaning, I don’t know what I’m talking about!
As far as the music is concerned, what is a spring cleaning show?
What I call a spring cleaning show is digging deep on my player to bring songs and artists into the spotlight that I just haven’t gotten to.
Now there could be myriad reasons as to why a song may not make it onto my playlist. The most common are: they need editing, or I haven’t been able to work them in to a theme.
These selections are just as awesome as music that I play every week!
There will also be a Faves Album Countdown after the Suzi Moon interview!
And even though I may be emphasizing slightly older material, there will still be new music, too!
Always!
On every show!
Here’s this week’s stats: 2 Artist Debuts, 3 New Releases, 2 unreleased world premieres, 10 artists with Southeast Michigan ties!!!
Wow!
Times for the artists on the playlist will be divided into two blocks and are only approximate. They are a mostly educated guess and they are not in sequential order.
Songs by artists from 12PM-2PM EDT should include Greater Alexander (His picture is in the center of the banner!), Katie Dahl, Mental Health Day, Kate Jablonski, Sugar Snow, Courtney Yasmineh, Nervous Germans, Wendy Webb, Latvian Radio, Deane Nesbitt Jr, Ellie Zwart, Katie Pederson who is at The Ark – Ann Arbor this Sunday!, Terri Binion, Mindi Abair, Quinn Christopherson, and many more!!!
Songs by artists from 2PM-4PM EDT should include Suzi Moon, Bobby Pennock (His as yet unreleased “6 Live” album cover is on the left in the banner!), Rochelle Clark, Kelly’s Lot, Kenny Young and the Eggplants, Steve Taylor Acoustic, Tom Alter Music, Bill Edwards (Edwardsongs), Nick Piunti & The Complicated Men, Kate Hinote Music, Jo Serrapere & the Willie Dunns with John Devine, Jeff Slate, Red City Radio, The Jins, and more!!!
So grab a broom and a dustpan, get a friend or two to listen and work with, and come along for the ride Wednesday from 12PM-4PM EDT with Phil Maq!
