It’s hard to believe that it’s been 11 years since I started writing a blog because my wife suggested I share my obsessive love of music with “other people who might find what I like to talk about interesting.”
Ahem.
Or something like that.
At this point, I have published 2,275 posts!!!
Actually, that number is considerably higher because I have eliminated several over the years for various reasons.
I try not to repeat things, except for simplicity and standardization, and I thought I would review my 10th anniversary post to see what I wrote.
Uh, I couldn’t find it because I never published one.
I guess I’m kinda like that most of the time, so I’m actually pretty surprised that I’m closing in on doing this 2300 times.
However, I am determined to write something for this anniversary.
I am expecting some changes to the website layout.
Maybe some new graphics.
New connections and coordination with youtube and playlists.
Anyone who knows me fairly well knows that I’ve been saying those things for a number of years.
Of course, I have added several features over the past few years that I’m really proud of.
It’s just that I have several more that I’d like to do.
The main thing that is in short supply for myself is time.
But in my mind, I like to think that each post or show is like adding a teeny tiny piece to my personal history,
Anyway, I like to recognize the milestones!
They’re little markers along the journey.
