It’s the 2023 Spring New Music Showcase #1 on Wednesday’s “Theme Attic,” 12PM-4PM EDT!!!

Back when I was a young adult, one of the joys in my life was coming home with a stack of new music! (Maybe it was as recent as a few months ago…)
Regardless, the fun was exploring that stack of musical treasures to find what would become a part of my life!
Well, it’s the same concept for this week’s 2023 Spring New Music Showcase #1 on Wednesday’s “Theme Attic” with Phil Maq from 12PM-4PM EDT!!!
Throw in a Top 9 at 2:09 Countdown of this week’s Fave Albums, and that is a thumbnail sketch of today’s show!
Stats are pretty solid, too!: 32 artist debuts, 26 new releases, 1 unreleased, 10 artists with SE Michigan Ties, and 8 singles!
I will divide the tags into sections, but they will only be an estimate.
I can’t guarantee that everything will fit into those slots, but I will try very hard to stick to them!
And…they are NOT in chronological order.
Songs by artists between 12PM-2:09 PM EST should include David Deacon, Austin Young Band (Austin Young), Cabela and Schmitt, John Yardang, Scotty Haze, Eyes of Others, The Wildwoods (Their new album cover “Foxfield Saint John” is in the lower left corner of the banner (Chloe Pinkman Gose, Noah Gose, Andrew Vaggalis), King Dream, The Druggles, The Paper Kites with Nadia Reid, M. Crane, Fieh, Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado, Hand Habits, Elliot Szabo, The Wag (The cover for their brand new album, “Blue Bottles and Copper Coins,” is in the right hand corner of the banner!), Insider, The Joe Lewis Band, Cold Expectations, Blue of Colors, Lunar, Blue of Colors, Sumaroo, Basement Revolver, and more!!!
Songs by artists between 2:09 PM-4PM EDT should include Sarah Morris, Roger Ponder, Jeremy Facknitz (The cover for his new album, “Smilin’ at the Future” is in the upper left corner of the banner!), Gary Browe (The album cover for his new album, “This Perfect Day,” is second from the right in the banner!), Chris Church, Popsicko (Big Stir Records), Tamar Berk, Lemon Pitch, Mike Ward: PsychoSongs (The cover for his new album, “Love Never Rests,” is second from the left in the banner!), Bobby Pennock, Xposed 4Heads, John D. Lamb (The album cover for his new release, “Good Hart,” is in the middle of the banner! John has an album release show at Birmingham Unitarian Church on Saturday, April 22, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan!), Tom Alter (Tom is playing a Songwriter Scramble: Dan Minard, Nina Sofia, Tom Alter tonight in Berkley, Michigan!), Linden Thoburn, Isaac Watters, Mise en Scene, Aspen Jacobsen, The Minks, Dearly Beloved, and more!!!
So bring a notebook and paper to jot down some notes, get a friend to listen with, and come along for Wednesday’s “Theme Attic” from 12PM-4PM EDT with Phil Maq!!!
