Back in 2016, I started a second show on Monday nights from 8PM-10PM!
I wanted to see how it felt to do an evening show.
The run lasted for a little over three years and 186 shows!
Not bad.
Well, as luck or fate would have it, I will be returning to my own time slot as Phil Maq fills in on “Hotwax” Monday night from 8PM-10PM EDT!!! Or so….
Tonight also happens to be the 7th anniversary of “Prime Time Theme Attic!”
Yeah. Pretty original. But it’s what I do and I did it in the spirit of Saturday Night Live!
I’ve said before that I like to acknowledge the milestones along the way, and I always made reference to it on my current “Theme Attic” show, Wednesdays from 12PM-4PM EDT around anniversary time!
I will have the usual eclectic mix of music that should fit in quite nicely on “Hotwax.”
A Top 9 at 9:09 Countdown of this week’s Phil’s Faves Albums will be part of the festivities, as well as songs that feature the number “7” and other curiosities!
Totals for the show are: 6 artist debuts, 2 new releases, 9 artists with Southeast Michigan ties, 2 singles!
Pretty good for 2 hour show!
