What can I say?

I’ve been a fan of hers since the first time I saw her!

To be honest, she scared the hell out of me!

Well…………………………………..

maybe only a little bit.

All I know is Sarah and her guitarist/sidekick Binky have been traversing the music world and playing Rock music like it should be played!

High energy!

Raw!

Loving their time on stage!

The first time I saw her at P.J.’s Lager house in Detroit, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing:

Rock music that sounded like rock music!

I didn’t know it still existed!

And Sarah swore like the sailor she wrote about in, “Same Old 45,” a song from her “Silver City” album that was rereleased last year!

Since then, I have seen her several times and I have enjoyed every appearance by this multiple Philby Award winning artist!

I even enjoyed the time she won over fans at The Ark in Ann Arbor, MI, when she was so much more low key than the P.J.’s Sarah. Reading the room–that’s smart and professional!

I’ll tell ya what; you give me some jungle drums and then slap a wicked guitar riff that I can jump around my house singing, “Durn-durn durn-durn durn durn-durn-durn,” throw in some lyrics like

I haven’t seen him since the moon was a fingernail

like the moon was last night (GREAT line!), and music doesn’t get much better for me than that!

Oh, yeah. The song is supposed to be a response to the song, “Brandy” by Looking Glass.”

Don’t care!

I never liked that song, but I loooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeee “Same Old 45!”
